GoGo Foundation is a ‘not-for-profit and non-partisan’ organization led by a nationally acclaimed advocate for good governance. Established in 2008, our operations commenced in July 2014, and we are proudly headquartered in Kathmandu, Nepal.

REPORTS

Nepal achieved the 5th position with a score of 4.2 on the CSO Sustainability Index (CSOSI) 2021.

GoGo Foundation, in partnership with FHI 360/ICNL/USA, released the CSO Sustainability Index (CSOSI) 2021. The CSOSI report assesses the civic space in eight countries across Asia and Southeast Asia, including Nepal, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Timor-Leste, and Thailand. GOGO FOUNDATION AWARD

GoGo Foundation has established the ‘GoGo Foundation Award’ to recognise governance champions those who demonstrate their outstanding contribution to fighting corruption to improve governance.


GoGo Foundation Award-2017

GoGo Foundation honored Hari Thapa, Chief Editor, Annapurna Post Daily with GoGo Foundation Award 2017 recognizing his tireless effort for fighting corruption and contributing to improve governance through investigative journalism. The Chief Guest former Chief Justice Anup Raj Sharma felicitated him with the GoGo Foundation Running Shield.

GoGo Foundation Award-2016

GoGo Foundation honored to a cherished administrator Kulman Ghising, Executive Director, Nepal Electricity Authority recognizing for his extraordinary contribution to ending  load shedding in Nepal. He was honored by the GoGo Foundation Award-2016 with cash prize along with the GoGo Foundation Running Shield. The Chief Guest Dr Somlal Subedi, Chief Secretary, Government of Nepal felicitated to Mr Ghising.

GoGo Foundation Award-2015

GoGo Foundation honored to Prof Dr Bhagawan Koirala, former Executive Director of the TU Teaching Hospital and National Heart Center. During his tenure, Dr Koirala had played an exemplary role to promote internal good governance in these hospitals to improve better public service delivery.  He was honored by the GoGo Foundation Award-2015 with cash prize along with the GoGo Foundation Running Shield.
