On behalf of GoGo Foundation, we extend our sincere congratulations to Dr. Koirala for receiving the GoGo Foundation Award for the first time!
Brief background of Prof Koirala
GoGo Foundation established the ‘GoGo Foundation Award‘ to honor promoters of good governance in Nepal. The Foundation initiated this award a year ago, setting up a grant with generous contributions from institutional members and individuals from both domestic and international communities.
GoGo Foundation aims to select three categories of individuals—Media Journalists, Government Officials, and Civil Society Activists—for the award. These recipients are chosen based on their remarkable contributions to promoting good governance and campaigning against corruption in Nepal.
As per GoGo Foundation‘s decision, the award for 2015 has been presented to a civil servant. The awardee was selected by the GoGo Award Nomination Committee, and the nominee’s name was announced to the public through an organization press release.
To facilitate this process, GoGo invited the public to recommend potential candidates for the award. The selection committee will then choose the best-performing civil servant for the 2015 Award.
